“History of cosmonautics”

Goal . formation of knowledge about the history of space exploration.

Learning objectives:

Secondary . formation of concepts:

– theoretical and practical assumptions kosmonavtiki research;

– the relation of the space with natural-mathematical Sciences and engineering;

– on the practical application of means of space exploration in science, technology, culture, industry and agriculture;

– about the space: space craft (SPACECRAFT), launch vehicles (LV), artificial Earth satellites (AES); spacecraft (SC), orbital stations (OS), automatic interplanetary stations (AWS);

– about the history of space research in Russia and abroad.

Educational . formation of scientific Outlook of pupils in the course of exploring the history of human knowledge. Patriotic education while getting acquainted with the outstanding role of Russian science and technology in space development. Polytechnic education and labour upbringing in presenting information on the practical application of space exploration.

Developing . formation of skills to prepare reports and messages to solve problems on the application of the laws of motion of the cosmic bodies, the formulas of space velocities and the Tsiolkovsky formula to describe the motion of the SPACECRAFT.

Students should know :

– spacecraft (subject, task and methodenkonvention research, its connection with other Sciences, the main stages of the history of cosmonautics and the scientists who made the greatest contribution to its development);

– on the practical application of means of space exploration in science, technology, culture, industry and agriculture;

– about the space: the main types of CLUSTERS, their structure and characteristics;

– on the main types of rocket engines, their design and characteristics

– the Tsiolkovsky formula, the formula and values I, II and III space velocity (for the Earth);

– about the flight paths of the SPACECRAFTS and the link between the form of their orbits and speed.

Students should be able to . to make presentations, to solve problems on the application of the formula of Tsiolkovsky and the laws of motion of celestial bodies to calculate the motion of a SPACECRAFT.
